My Little News Junkie

T. and K. helped me with the grocery shopping yesterday, while Ed waited in the car. They found such necessary items at Moon Pies (which they've been wanting to try ever since we read "Jimmy Zangwow's Out-of-this-World Moon Pie Adventure") and Hershey's Kisses (2 for the price of 1). While waiting in the check-out line, T. became entranced by the Weekly World News. He read avidly until I'd paid our tab, and then informed me that it was a really good paper, and covered lots of amazing stuff that isn't in the newspapers we get, and I should cancel the Wall Street Journal and start getting the Weekly World News instead. I guess that his open mind and thirst for knowledge are commendable, but, poor kid, he is going to have to continue to get the latest news on the Loch Ness Monster and Big Foot from the internet.

LOL! My son is absolutely entranced by Brangelina. I *don't* know why. But it's hilarious to watch him read the covers with eyes as big as dinner plates.

That's funny. James told me just last night - at the checkout line - "This magazine is AMAZING! Look at all the stuff it has! You can even change the shape of your butt in 15 minutes!" *groan* Maybe it is time to flip the front magazine over as I move up the line?
