Ed went to Lowes today and brought me home a wheelbarrow (to help me distribute that mulch). Katie put it together (with a little help -- but she is pretty handy!).
I didn't spread any mulch, but I Did get eight of the ten little shrubs Ed bought a week or so ago planted before the rain started. The temperatures are getting to be so nice -- perfect weather for gardening. Maybe next Saturday I'll get my vegetable garden started!
*I had my camera on the wrong setting, which is why all the pictures are washed out.

Well, the red of the wheelbarrow actually looks quite bright and shiny! In fact it looks so wonderfully spring-like there. We have wind here. A bit more of Arizona blowing across us towards Texas.
Anyway, it looks great!
I'm really starting to get the bug now! I want to be out digging in the dirt too, but we won't get out there until the end of April. It's just still too cold up here until then.
Have fun smelling that fresh earth smell! ;)
Already have a good start on my dirt manicure. Doesn't it feel so good to start getting things in the ground?
Isn't Springtime in the South absolutely glorious? I *love* it!
Little Katie sure has grown since you first started thinking about moving. Isn't it amazing to think that "this" is her home, her life, her growing up time? She's just adorable!

Elisheva,
The color of the wagon did come out well, didn't it? A red wagon just says spring!
Jules,
I'll sniff some dirt for you!
Melissa,
I'm copying that planter of yours!
Dy,
I think NC must agree with her -- she Has grown amazingly! (And we Know it isn't all the healthy vegetables she eats!)
