Anyone else really like the book and look forward to seeing the movie (as soon as it came out on dvd)? We watched Howl's Moving Castle last night, and What a Hash they made of one of my old favorite fantasy/romances! They changed the story completely, and the new one they came up with was rambling and silly. T. and K., who haven't read the book, actually enjoyed it very much, but T. did say afterwards, "That was pretty melodramatic, wasn't it Mom." Good call, kiddo.
*9 out of 10 film critics thought this movie was just super. Shows what they know.
