My Love Brought Home the Bacon (Box)

On the Eighth Day before our move, my true love brought to me…. Boxes from the grocery” (store).

We are sensible, prudent, and industrious here. We scrounge for boxes from behind stores (or sometimes just follow the Pepperidge Farm man around the store and grab his empties – those cookie boxes are nice and sturdy). We pack Before the day of the move. We do our best to make the realtor tell us the actual street address of the house he sold us, so our mail can be forwarded. Our move may be a little hare-brained, but we strive to be sensible hares.
Ed’s parents treated him to an emotional lecture on how dumb we are to be moving, and he was foolish enough to tell me about it. Not all of it, actually, but some of the more bizarre details, such as that they think we are moving to NC so we can have another baby. Huh? I’m glad I missed the rant, but I’m kind of curious about the rationale behind that one. Ed said I should put a pillow under my shirt when we go over to say goodbye.

You should TOTALLY put a pillow under your shirt! And you should totally have another baby too!

The pillow would be fun, but, aside from venting here, I try to cut them a lot of slack because they are old and sickly. I wish we could have another baby!

I am proud to say I have never bought a box! LOL!
And aren't in-laws a ton of fun??

Pillow under your shirt would be a hoot!! :)

Personally I'm a big fan of liquor boxes so we haunted the local liquor stores regularly. They're small and sturdy & that makes them perfect for books. Plus most of them now are quite fancy. We had a whole whack for a Australian wines which were great - they had all these cute emus on them.....cheered me up everytime I saw them stacked all over.
