K.'s dance recital was last Sunday. She was brilliant,
naturally. The recital was supposed to start at 2:30 and end by 5:30 at the latest. When the intermission was at 5:30 and half the program was yet to come, Ed started to get a little antsy. K.'s second (and last) number, "Going to the Chapel," was the fifth after the intermission, and we snuck out immediately after. All (okay, most) of the performances were good, but there is a limit to how long one
can enjoy watching other people's little darlings perform. I video taped K.'s two dances, and have spent way too much time over the past couple days trying to post part of the video here. Obviously, I was unsuccessful. She had a good time, though (she told me afterwards, "I thought it was going to be Horrible and Scary, but I had fun!"), and we stopped for for ice cream on the way home, so it was a successful outing, even if I didn't get to post a cute video.
Harry went to the vet's for his Special Operation yesterday. All went as it was supposed to (from everyone's point of view except Harry's), and he was back to bouncing around attacking inanimate objects and eating like a horse by evening. He and Bo are getting along quite well these days. They often hang out near each other, although Harry gets stiff and offended when Bo wants to give him a good sniffing.
**Harry says the cartoon is not funny At All, and in very poor taste besides.

She looks just beautiful! I love the pictures with the proud parents too.
Glad that Harry is back to his normal spunky self :) That is one of my favorite Far Sides! LOL!!
