Lazy and Unproductive (but anything could happen tomorrow!)

We didn't do much today, and it was good.
I gave T. only two lessons, math and grammar, though he still managed to stretch his very small amount of work over an impressively long period of time.
I've been neglecting the cherry trees, grapes, and berry bushes, what with spending all my gardening time on the front flower bed, but T.'s piano teacher mentioned today (when she called to cancel his lesson, again) that we've been having a drought so I decided I'd better go and give my backyard babies some attention. I watered everything and weeded around everything but the berry bushes, and have good intentions about fertilizing them tomorrow. I also finished mulching the front bed, which would look pretty good now if I had weed whacked like I was supposed to, but I didn't. I did read some extra chapters of Charlie Bone to the kids this afternoon, and that was even more fun that weed whacking, hard as that may be to believe.

So you are in a drought now, eh?
Hope you get some good rains soon!

We did nothing much today, too.
We all need days like that.
