Possible Progress Made, More Sitting

Today was pretty good.

During lessons, T. doodled, gave thoughtless answers, and pushed my buttons, and I lost my temper and was sarcastic. But we did better than we've been doing recently. We were both trying hard to be good, so we are going in the right direction. Board math -- we started division today -- went fairly well, and we finished with a good Latin lesson.

T. had Ju Jitzu at 6:00 tonight, and K. had a ball game in another town 20 minutes away at 6:30. Ed dropped T. and me off, then scooted off. T. had fun playing with the other boys in his class, but the teacher never showed up. We don't know why, so I hope he is okay. The other boys left at 6:30, and T. and I sat outside waiting for and hour and forty-five minutes (not that I was counting or anything). I had a book, of course, but I had forgotten to bring anything to amuse poor old T. He let me do some reading, we talked, we watched birds and airplanes. I suggested that he work on his "Link" story, and he suggested that we explore the scary abandoned warehouse next to the dance studio (he thinks it is haunted and would be oodles of fun, I think it is falling apart and I would fall through a floor and break something, which would not be fun at all). My bottom got tired (the bench was hard), but it was nice to sit and talk, with nothing to do.
