Awash in Germs

Both kids seemed pretty well yesterday morning, so we went to storytime/book group at the library. By 12:30, however, T. was looking pretty peaky, so we went straight home after. T. was tired and coughing, but K. started a fever and spent the rest of the day on the couch. Both kids wanted cuddles and stories, so that is what we did.
(Harry thought that the cat segments on "Funniest Pets and People" were fascinating. I didn't know cats watched t.v.)

K. was sick a couple times in the night, and has spent all of today sleeping on the couch. Last time Ed took her temperature it was 102.5. I think we are going to miss another Sunday at church.

At one point last night, when K. had been throwing up and was just completely wretched, she turned to me and said, "I know God could make me well if He wanted to. Why doesn't He want to?" I couldn't think of a good answer. (I did mention about her body needing to build up a resistance to various kinds of germs, but she didn't find that very convincing.)

I used the self-clean feature on the oven today. For the first time ever, so there is a lot for it to clean. The fumes are pretty horrific, so I opened the windows. Ed says he is going to freeze to death.

Oh, wash those little germs right away with plenty of hot tea or lemonade and hugs and kisses from Mom! Get well soon.
