Ed: "When does your book group meet this month?"
Me: "I can't remember...guess I'd better check. But I'm not reading the book anyway."
Ed: "Why not? What's the book?"
Me: "For Whom the Bell Tolls. I'm just not in a Hemingway mood."
Ed: "Hemingway. Didn't he make pianos?"
Me: "That would be Steinway."
Ed: "Oh."

That sounds so much like a conversation between The Dude and I, but I would be playing the part of Ed, as The Dude has a snooty masters degree in Literature. LOL!!
