Ed and the kids are watching the Super Bowl tonight. We are not sports people, and up to when they turned on the tv tonight they didn't know who was playing, but they've been all excited about The Game. Or, more precisely, about all the great commercials and getting to eat chips in the living room! Anyway, they're in there, and Ed is explaining football stuff to them. I'm so glad he can do that (and also that he doesn't want to do it more than once a year!).
*They just called me in to watch The Who playing the half-time show. I thought they (The Who) did very well, given their years, but was relieved when none of them slid across the stage on their knees, the way Bruce did last year. Katie assured me, though, that if they had there were plenty of big, strong guys in the area who could have helped them get back up again.
