Pictures of a Happy Birthday

 Blogger insists on loading most of my pictures sideways, but you can see from the few pictures I can post that the boy had an excellent day!  Between his grandparents, his parents, and his own savings he got the video camera of his dreams, his sister gave him pokemon cards, his godmother gave him a gift card with which he purchased an awesome Lego kit, and we also gave him a "yardarang" (like a boomerang, only it doesn't seem to come back.  But the tv commercials were apparently very impressive!).  He had the day off school, we went out for a lovely lunch, and Katie and I made him a cake to his exacting specifications.  It was, according to Travis, a Very Good Birthday.  Just what my Very Good Boy deserved!
