Katie had a very good time at co-op yesterday (They made an American flag cheesecake and a chocolate cake, to illustrate how nice baking from mixes is. Cake mixes, though perhaps not jello cheesecake mixes, were developed in the 1920's, the period they are studying.), but by late afternoon she wasn't feeling at all well. It looked like just really bad allergies (ragweed is blooming). This morning, however, she provided the evidence required for a day on the couch. Emma, ever thoughtful, presented her with half a dead skink.
For whatever reason, Katie seems to be feeling better. I think she'll be back to school tomorrow!
