Last night was another sleepless blurr of comforting, cleaning up, and otherwise caring for my two sick babies. Today we decided that the germs our kids already had were worse than anything they might pick up at the doctor's office, so we took them in. They have the flu. (But, as the doctor remarked cheerily, "not strep!") Since they'd already had it for more than 48 hours, the doctor said there was not much point in giving them Tamiflu, but he did give them an antibiotic and an anti-coughing medicine, And said that they might be well by Monday. Boy, I sure hope so!

It has been a great winter--for the viruses! Everyone in my household has been sick at least twice this winter.
I hope everyone is on the mend at your house now, and will be up to snuff soon!
