Here is Katie, wearing her darling "pioneer girl" outfit, which my darling mom just made for her. Is she adorable beyond belief or what? Travis, of course, had to get in on the act, so he is dressed as Pioneer Boy.
Katie's first Pioneer Girls meeting was yesterday, and she had a Wonderful time! They meet in a real log cabin, which was built around the same time as the one Laura Ingalls lived in in the first book. They made corn cobs dolls and molasses candy, and danced and sang songs while the mom who is leading played her fiddle. She can hardly wait until they meet again next week!
Katie drew this picture of me and my daddy. And we do look just like that! (or did, about 35 years ago!)
And here is another cute father and daughter team!

It's adorable. And anyone would feel safer with T around, I think.
I love the pioneer outfits! Samantha did something similar to that last summer - she went to Pioneer School in a one room school house for a week. She had a blast.
I love the picture of you and Ed too. But I have to ask - were you a cheerleader? ;)
Andie,
Travis is quite the brave hunter! (especially when he is safely inside the house!)
Jules,
Pioneer School sounds neat!
The drawing is of me and My dad, and I see your point -- my outfit Does look cheerleader-y -- but I was never a cheerleader. I am not and never was smiley and bubbly enough!
She looks so comfortable in her outfit. What a cool club you have found. It sounds like they will be learning a lot of things that will make them more self-sufficient!
OM Goodness!!! Too ADORABLE!! How awesome that you have found a Pioneer Girl club close to you. That all sounds like such fun. And I'll say it again, T and my Jack would get along SO WELL!
P.S.Thanks for the compliment on the dress!
Oops! Sorry! I see that now - it clearly states "me and my dad". I must have missed that the first time around! :)
