In honor of the end of summer I gave Bo a bath today. (I realize it isn't technically the end of summer yet, but the elementary school across the street is starting up tomorrow, and leaves are starting to change colors and fall of the trees, so it looks like the end of summer from here.) Bo says he would much prefer to have celebrated with a nice juicy burger.
I explained to him, though, that a clean, non-smelly dog is much more likely to get pats. Also that it will be November before he has to have another bath, and then only if we are having company for Thanksgiving. That perked him up!

Awww Bo is beautiful! His expressions remind me of Scout, our border collie. I have long conversations with her simply because her face is so expressive.

He is about 10 years old. For a chubby old dog, though, he is still pretty spry!
beautiful dog! So...how'd the bath go??? Is this a hose bath or a tub bath? We have Jeb and Scout. Both chocolate labs. They LOVE baths!
He is such a beautiful dog! I remember our collie hated her baths. She would sit in the tub and just tremble until it was all over. Poor thing!
I hope Bo tolerates his a little better!
