My mom is doing much better. Actually, she was up and about yesterday, and today she seems quite her normal, chipper self. I think she should be taking things easy, but she is not one to do that.
I have been down with some sort of bug for the last couple days and Ed took the kids to book group today. I missed them, but lying around resting felt pretty good.

Wow! Sounds like quite the eventful Thanksgiving! I am sorry your mom was sick but glad she is better, and what is up with your brother? ;) It's too bad Ed had to hit his truck, but it IS only a truck.
(I say this jokingly - there is someone in my family who would be just as unforgiving about his own truck, if we were to back into it)
