Happy New Year

It is the eighth day of Christmas, and we sang "Go Tell It on the Mountain" in church today. I love that song.

Ed wanted to "see in" the New Year last night, but I went to bed with the kids. After reading them to sleep, I stayed up and finished Letters for a Diminished Church, by Dorothy Sayers. She made some good points, and the book was interesting, but a bit too long. I got up and brought Ed to bed at 12:45. He had fallen asleep in front of the t.v., and "slept in" the new year. Silly old bear.

Travis had several friends over to play yesterday, And the much anticipated Link costume arrived in the mail. A Banner day! Leaving the friends Travis has made is one of the things I will regret when we move.
