Dolls and Tea Parties

We almost forgot piano this afternoon, and Hana, who had come over to play with T., stayed to play with K. after T. and Ed raced off to the lesson. I puttered a little, but when things were quiet for an unusual length of time, I went to K.'s room to check on the girls. They were playing dolls! It was so sweet. I don't think K. has ever had a little girl to play dolls with before. Of course, pretty soon T. came home, and they were back to the usual hooligan-ish behavior. K. is inviting a couple little girls from her gymnastics and dance classes to her birthday party next month, and it would be so nice if one of them turned out to be real friend material!

My 1 1/2 year old already is playing dolls and I'm in heaven. I LOVED dolls when I was little and I was so afraid that karma would give me a little girl who hated dolls! Thank God, no! :)
