Our weather has been lovely, but we don't have much in the way of fall leaves yet here. Apparently, this has been the driest year in as long as anyone can remember, and the lack of rain has a negative effect on the fall color. On the upside, it has been really good for our leaky basement. (I'm not sure all the poor farmers around here would agree that our dry basement compensates for the lack of rain, but it is all in your perspective, eh? Just kidding, of course. We've been hoping for rain along with everyone else. But the reduced number of slugs cruising around the basement is undeniably pleasant.)
