Trick-or-Treat

We had a beautiful night for trick or treating, and the kids had a great time. We met up with some friends on the same street we enjoyed so much last year.
(T. is in the Grim Reaper costume. I got to carry the scythe most of the night.)

(As you can see from K.'s bulging cheeks, she didn't wait 'til the trick-or-treating was over to start devouring her candy. K. loves candy.)

(The houses in this neighborhood are all big, old, and beautiful. They get hordes of trick or treaters, and many of the houses are wonderfully decorated (and some of the residents get decorated too, as you can see from the horned demon in the last picture). One house even had mist, spooky organ music, and a big haunted house and cemetary set up on their front lawn.)

It looks like you had great fun!

Alas, geography and topography (we live in a small subdivision with lots of land, no sidewalks, and two miles uphill from the main road) made sure that we had no trick-or-treater's. We had N. do his yearly begging for sweets in town with some friends.
