Cake, candy, and books, books, books!!!

I am So indulged!!!!  Ed and the kids made me a delicious cake, and I was given heaps of lovely books, candy bars, and a very nice new shirt (thank you, Travis!).  And, Travis snuck downstairs late last night, printed out today's school schedules (I didn't even know he knew how to use Homeschool Tracker), and did today's math and science, and part of composition!  How is That for love?
I am indeed blessed!

The Pleasures of Reading in an Age of Distraction was the first present I opened this morning.  It has been sitting in my e-mail, tempting me, but I am a good girl and did not download it until my actual birthday!

I could hardly believe that Travis did school work late last night, when I thought he was sleeping.  Why can't it be that painless every day?
