A sign?

Got our first newspaper from the town we are considering for our new home today. Front page headlines were "Husband coping with disappearance" (abducted wife), "Gragg case moved" (stabbing case), and "Finding Direction" (laid off workers attend job fair). Aack! Also, there was a big piece of something black and yucky stuck to the front of the paper. Mud? Chewing tobacco? Ed said that the mailbox was open when he went to get the mail, so it might have been compliments of our own local hoodlums, and not originally attached to the paper. Still... Big decisions just kill me.
