Welcome to My Nightmare

After a sleepless night and a hard bout of crying before breakfast, it is time to face the waking nightmare that is my life.  That’s right.  You can take away my home, my e-mail, and my access to my books, but you can’t take away my overblown sense of drama!

Ahem…  Now, back to our regularly scheduled blogging.

Ed got an early start out the door for his daily round of box hunting today.  He finds a hysterical wife disconcerting.  He is also mailing a package for me, and the poor guy, trying to be helpful, suggested that it would be wise to use my mother’s address as the return address, being as how we are about to be homeless.  (The italics are mine, not his.)  You had better believe that he got a fresh round of weeping from me with that one.

Ed’s plan now is that we will drive up to North Carolina again (this time with Bo, of course) and find a house immediately (his italics).  Apparently we are done with the silly sort of wishy washy house hunting we did before.  This time he is going to march into the realtor’s office and demand that they bring out all the good houses they keep in the back room, the ones that they only show their favorite customers.  Whew!  Glad that problem is solved.  Now I should pack.

If anyone can do it, your Ed can.

PS. The mushrooms have gone, at least for now.

Dhugs -- Thank you for the prayers! We really need them.

Cherrypie -- Thank you so much. I read your comment to Ed, and it was just what we both needed. Times like these, I'm so grateful for his optimism!!

Glad you've gotten rid of the mushrooms.
