We volunteered at the food pantry today and they gave us several boxes of mushrooms which needed to be eaten today or not at all. The kids aren't keen on mushrooms, and Ed is only moderately fond of them, so I had all the mushrooms I could eat tonight with dinner. What a treat! The kids had a great time filling carts with food, and have volunteered to sacrifice a day of lessons Anytime their help at the pantry is needed!
