Despite world class level procrastination on all our parts, the children and I got our books read, our poem learned, our lessons done, and our book discussion planned, and got to go to the co-op meeting on Monday!  We are finally through the Reformation and have started on Colonial history.  Last week we read about Jamestown, and this week we are studying the Pilgrims, who are actually much more interesting to read about with the Reformation background.  Katie's group ran out of time to make their corn husk dolls in class, so we made ours this afternoon.  Actually, I was making dinner and Katie mostly made it on her own -- isn't she crafty?
