Sunday

It's been a lovely week. Nice weather, if a little on the chilly side, and everyone has been feeling pretty agreeable!
Here is Harry, admiring the birds outside. He spends hours this way.

The kids finished their lessons in good time this week, and I suggested they finish their paper mache creations (not that I was getting tired of moving them from one table to another, but it just seemed like a good idea). So they did.

And here is Emma. Hoping that food will fall on the floor. Because she is so underfed!

Travis, painting his Tepig.

After church today we went to the home of a very generous member of our congregation who is an artist. She has a wonderful walk-in basement studio, and she invited all the kids (and parents) over to make props for the Christmas pageant. Only first she gave everyone a delicious taco lunch, with ice cream sundaes for dessert

She has drains in the floor, so even glitter holds no terror for her!

These giant ornaments will be hung on the Jesse tree while the kids act out the various scenes from the Bible. I think this year's pageant looks like fun.

And here are Katie's pig and Travis's tepig, completed.

And, as a final note, tonight we went to the community Christmas concert (the 52nd Annual!). It was excellent, and the second song, "A Highland Carol" included bagpipes! I love bagpipes.
